Presenter Bio:

Jasbir Sidhu holds an honours degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Manchester and an MBA from Surrey University. He has studied and worked predominantly in the Nuclear Industry for over 35 years and is one of the UK’s leading Nuclear Risk Analysts. Jasbir is the founder of Corporate Risk Associates (CRA - November 2000) and was at the helm for 24 years. CRA is one of the largest integrated Risk, Safety & Human Factors consultancies and is renowned for the delivery of 1st class quality services to the nuclear industry. Today, CRA is part of the Assystem family, which is a major, leading, independent design engineering company in the Nuclear World. In January 2022, Jasbir was appointed as the President of the UK Nuclear Institute and served a two-year term. The journey with the NI continues - Jasbir is the Past President and an Executive Board Member that promotes professionalism in the Nuclear Industry. Today, Jasbir is the Nuclear Consultant to Lloyd’s Nuclear Syndicate 1176 which is part of the Chaucer Group and is the Managing Partner of Nuclear Capital LLP (establishing a private Nuclear Investment Fund). Key focus areas - Finance, Insurance, Licensing, and Advisory across national and international nuclear projects and programmes.
